Mexicana is running a deal right now for travelers that are willing to depart on Thursdays or Fridays. I ran a search for Los Angeles to Puerto Vallarta and the cost with taxes came to about $330 usd. I have always had a good experience flying Mexicana, however Mexicana Click is another story.
